Finally I’m back. I’ve been away from Patay Gutom for the past couple of weeks, to avoid conflict of interests, after PG got nominated for Bloggers’ Choice Award in the recently concluded Philippine Blog Awards 2009. For my coming back post, I won’t be doing a feat about fancy restaurants but instead, I’ll be telling you about the good news of what eating can do to help send poor children to school.
Our gracious host and leader Mr. Timothy Tiah (one of the founders of Nuffnang) took us all out for dinner at Duck King located at Jaya One just outside Kuala Lumpur. It would be a chinese dinner. And it would be one of the best.
I was a bit hesitant to try a Hawker center since it was compared to our carinderia in the philippines. But then again this is Singapore. Their hawker center was the highlight of my trip. Can you say P90 for rice, soup, and duck?? Singapore food was awesome! (but KL food was even better!) Here are some shots of the food I ate!

This is another blog post of what I ate at the Chinatown Complex in Singapore. Me and other bloggers were not really supposed to eat there because we were actually planning to look for a great chili crab place during lunchtime. It turns out there wasn’t any chili crab meal to find at the Chinatown Complex. :p
